Introduction

Stockdale Farm is a Grade II listed barn conversion on three storeys accessible by stairs with banisters

 

Pre-Arrival

• Nearest train station Cark-in-Cartmel. Telephone numbers for local taxi firms available on request.
• Ulverston is 15 minutes away by car and be reached by train from Cark-in-Cartmel station.
• Stockdale Farm is within a Tesco home delivery area. There is a corner shop, chemist, butcher and Post Office within walking distance from Stockdale Farm.
• Two main bedrooms are on the top floor of the cottage. The main bathroom is on the same level as the lounge on the first floor. There is a downstairs cloakroom which is on the same level as the kitchen/diner.

 

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

• There is a private car parking space opposite the entrance door. There are additional spaces for use by additional cars or visitors - they are unmarked spaces.
• The surface of the car park is tarmac and the short distance to the door is flat and level.

 

Main Entrance & Reception

• There is an additional entrance on the first floor which is accessible from the courtyard. Cars cannot be parked in the courtyard.

 

Laundry

• There is a washer/dryer in the utility area on the ground floor. There is a washing line available on the patio in the courtyard. The washing basket, airier, iron and ironing board are stored in the cupboard under the stairs on the same level as the washer/dryer.

 

Bedrooms

• The bedrooms are on the top floor which is accessible by two flights of stairs with banisters on one side.

 

Bathroom, Shower-room & WC [Ensuite or Shared]

• Bathroom has shower over bath.

 

Self-Catering Kitchen

• Entrance door leads into kitchen/diner. No steps - entrance is level.
• Mixer tap over sink. Sink and worksurface at normal height with cupboards below.
• Electric hob and oven and microwave.
• Crockery in eyelevel cupboards, cutlery in drawers, pans in lower cupboards.
• Tiled floor with hexagonal pine dining room table and chairs to one side.
• Fridge integrated in kitchen, freezer in utility area at rear of kitchen/diner. No steps between kitchen/diner and utility area.
